In my mind, there are two essential growth areas for most engineers. The first relates to their discipline which we talk a lot about else where. The second area, and the topic of the posts in this section are the soft skills. Many engineers experience frustrations in their career that has nothing to do with engineering expertise or discipline. It has to do with an area of personal development commonly called the “soft skills”
The soft skills refer to the following areas of personal development:
- Thinking Styles
- Perfectionism / Rigidity
- Communication
- Rapport
- Teamwork
